Hello! My name is Skyler. I am a recent graduate of Montgomery College, where I majored in Digital Media and Web Technologies. I’ve been hooked on arts and technology since my cousin put me on to this unique blend at age 3.
Today, I’m an emerging multimedia designer and developer. I aspire to bridge technology and creativity to transform bold ideas into reality.
My goal is to blend my love for design, development, data, and production to craft compelling narratives. Using tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Git, I love developing and designing projects that unite creativity, interactivity, and functionality to achieve my mission of fusing technology and creativity across diverse fields.
For me, every project is an opportunity to challenge norms, contribute fresh perspectives, and create innovative solutions across design, development, and multimedia platforms.
I envision myself contributing to teams that push boundaries, challenge the status quo, and confront pressing issues in bold, unprecedented ways. I’m confident in my ability to integrate my professional skills across a range of disciplines, including web development, information architecture, news and television, social media, and multi-platform media like web, radio, print, illustration, design, marketing, and advertising.
In my free time, I love studying music history and playing alto and tenor saxophone. I have a deep love for jazz and blues, though I enjoy every genre of music. I am also passionate about protest art, all kinds of literature (James Baldwin is my favorite), sociology, and geopolitics. My nonprofit work and love for global culture and history also fuel my creativity and perspective.
